We are pleased to announce that IAMRAI has signed a Product Development MoU with Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum.
The formal signing took place on 15th May,2026 at SCTIMST, Trivandrum, between Dr. Joseph Vettukattil, Director, IAMRAI, and Dr. Sanjay Behari, Director, SCTIMST. The ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Harikrishnan Varma, Head, SCTIMST BMT Wing; Mr. Muraleedharan C.V., Division of Artificial Internal Organs; and Ms. Sandhya C.G., Technology Business Division.
This initiative is especially significant for India, where many patients currently depend on imported cardiovascular, making treatment expensive and inaccessible for many. By developing an indigenous solution, this partnership aims to reduce import dependency and improve affordability for patients in need.
Dr. Sujesh Sreedharan will lead the product development, with support from Dr. Naresh Kasoju. Mr. Ansheed Raheem will serve as the lead engineering associate from IAMRAI.
